Privacy policy

This page describes what the Fray Games portal stores. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we store

  • An account record. If you play as a guest this is only a generated identifier and a display name. If you sign in with Google, Discord or Apple we additionally store the email address and provider identifier that they return to us.
  • A session. A signed cookie so you stay signed in on this device.
  • Your ratings. The thumbs up or thumbs down you leave on a game, linked to your account so you can change your mind.
  • Game progress and currency. Balances and entitlements attached to your account, so they follow you between devices.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the portal.
  • We never receive your password from a sign-in provider — we only receive an identifier.

Games in frames

Games are loaded in a frame from their own origin. The portal passes each game a short-lived token identifying you, and nothing else. A game's own data handling is covered by its own policies where they differ.

Cookies

The portal sets a session cookie and, if you have a guest identity, an identifier for it. These are required for the site to function; there are no advertising or analytics cookies.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it. Contact us through the links in the footer and we will remove the account record, its sessions, its ratings and its balances.

Children

Our games are suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect more information from a child than the account record described above.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we store, we will say so on this page rather than quietly editing it.
